Digital Storytelling in Cultural Tourism: A Sustainable Communication Approach at the Lasem Heritage Foundation

Responsible cultural tourism requires a sustainable approach that includes preserving values while promoting economic and environmental sustainability. This study examines why the Lasem Heritage Foundation chose digital storytelling as form of communication for managing how it aligns with principles. Using case qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observation, literature review. Findings indicate is an effective to Foundation, provides lasting impact message amplification. Their Instagram Website "Kesengsem Lasem" branding have helped foundation communicate amplify their public promote practices wider audiences. Furthermore, The foundation's use in effectively conveys messages helps reinforce sustainability destination. These include (1) Ecological Trust website articles, (2) ecological access Social Business Programs, (3) disclosures leading platform & tools all stakeholders, (4) dialogues preservation class, series learning clinic, particular program called travel all. Future research should expand number informants consider additional collection methods such focus group discussions content analysis platforms.
